Regular meeting of the Jefferson County Board of County Commissioners (3rd Thursday). The BOCC meets the 1st Thursday at 9:00 AM and the 3rd Thursday at 6:00 PM each month at the Courthouse Annex. Agenda is published at least 24 hours prior on the county TownCloud portal (towncloud.io). Zoom access available with meeting ID and passcode. Public comment period is provided on both consent and regular agenda items. All meetings are open to the public per F.S. 286.011 (Florida Sunshine Law).

County Manager Shannon Metty will present department budget requests, revenue projections, and capital improvement priorities including Road Department equipment, emergency communications upgrades, and library facility improvements. Open to the public for observation. Budget documents will be available at the County Coordinator's Office, 450 Walnut Street, Monticello.

Memorial Day — County Offices Closed

All DayAll Jefferson County Government Offices

All Jefferson County government offices, including the Courthouse, County Coordinator's Office, Building Department, Road Department, R.J. Bailar Public Library, and the Solid Waste and Recycling Center, will be closed Monday, May 26 in observance of Memorial Day. Regular hours resume Tuesday, May 27. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, Fire & Rescue, and Emergency Management maintain normal emergency operations. A Memorial Day ceremony honoring Jefferson County veterans will be held at 10:00 AM on the Courthouse lawn, 1 Courthouse Circle, Monticello.
