Office of the County Attorney
The County Attorney provides legal counsel to the Board of County Commissioners, the County Manager, and all county departments. The office represents the county in litigation, drafts and reviews ordinances, resolutions, contracts, and other legal documents.
The County Attorney is appointed by the Board of County Commissioners and attends all regular and special meetings of the Board to provide legal advice.
